Raising Godly Children
Do we want to raise good children or godly children? Raising Godly children in the midst of a secular society may seem difficult, but there’s good news! The Bible is a training manual. It’s filled with wisdom and great counsel on how to raise your children to love God and to keep His commandments.
The Bible tells us to, “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Discipleship does not always mean going to a foreign country for mission work. It doesn’t always mean being the leader of a large church or ministry. Discipleship in the Christian sense is the process of leading someone to become like Christ. We believe that discipleship starts at home. Raising Godly children is important and there are Bible verses that support that view. Deuteronomy 6:6-8 gives us some practical parenting advice, “Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night” [Message translation].
Families are under attack, and we seek to help families fight back by providing biblical resources and strategies that are grounded in truth and backed by the Word of God.
We Are the RDC Team
It takes a village to raise children. Raising Godly children must be an intentional effort. Having a community of God-fearing families and friends surrounding you will help cultivate successful spiritual growth. Below are some of the families that make up the RDC ministry.
The Evans Family

Jay and Claire Evans are the creators of Bible Time Fun. When their girls, Alyssa and Kayla, were babies the couple wrote the Bible Time Story Book and Interactive Family Devotional. These resources were essential in teaching the girls the love of God and teaching them how to have a relationship with Him for themselves.
Co-founders of epiC Ministries (elevating people in Christ), Jay and Claire have the desire to serve God by serving others. To this end, they have created books, devotionals, and a number of free Bible resources to help families grow closer to Christ.
Alyssa and Kayla, also known as the Bible Time girls, have the desire to tell others about Jesus. As they grow in age and maturity, they love to add to their ministry roles. Check out their website, Crafty Kidz, which is a great resource for families, offering a range of creative and engaging content for kids, by kids.
